Countrywide Pools take the Gold at the SPASA WA 2022 Awards of Excellence!

Countrywide Pools with 2x gold awards for the Swimming Pool & Spa Association Awards

The 2022 WA Pool & Spa Awards of Excellence were held on Saturday 2nd July, which saw Countrywide Pools taking two gold awards out of the three categories they were entered into.

The first award of the night was for "Community Project" for the team's work on "Project Meekatharra", a project which involved the replacement of a swimming pool and full landscape design within the nurses quarters in the township for the Department of Communities.

The derelict and neglected area was in dire need of restoration and the team worked tirelessly for 10 days in 45° heat to complete this project. With a meticulously organised renovation plan, this pool was bought back to life. An astonishing transformation into a truly stunning and low maintenance area means that this new pool can be enjoyed for many years.

A special shout out to Regional Concrete & Landscaping, Winpro Electrical & Jim McKenzie Pty Ltd for their assistance with this project.

Max Hubble wins Gold for ‘Pool Sales Representative!

Can he bring home the National Award?

Max took home the Gold award for 'Pool Sales Representative' which is an incredible recognition for his hard work since starting Pool Supplies Northam in 2007. Max originally started as “Pool Supplies Northam” but quickly grew to be the regional agent for Aqua Leisure Technologies and began selling pools in 2007.

Max has a vast history in sales which contributed to his success becoming a regional agent for ALT and he also has an in-depth knowledge of rural locations. They can be so different to metro installations due to the Aussie red dirt and vast open spaces being on farm lands. Max offers an individual service to our customers and offers the most effective equipment to ensure easy maintenance.

One of the reasons for Max’s success is he is not afraid to jump in the car and travel to see clients and their properties not only to “secure a deal”, but to ensure that he understands the site and can be fully transparent & upfront with the client in order to offer them the best solution to make their pool dreams a reality. He believes that the personal service he offers has been instrumental to his success.

Max prides himself on the fact that he understands rural locations. Feedback we have received before is “rural pools are your focus. Usually we say “we live 70km from Geraldton” and trades roll their eyes…you guys love farms!” (Fiona Mann, Eradu).

The testimonials that Max receives are a true testament to his achievements. Max prides himself on his customer service and the time he spends with each individual client. He offers the best solution in terms of equipment, whether that be a freshwater system or others. His knowledge of each system is impressive and he can confidently explain all the pros and cons efficiently in order for his clients to make an informed decision.

Without a doubt, the sales goals achieved would not have been possible without Max’s knowledge, experience and passion to help peoples’ pool dreams become a reality.

Congratulations Max!

Why Choose a SPASA Member?

Whenever we return home from holidays we are always reminded of how lucky we are to live in beautiful Western Australia. So next time, why not holiday at home instead? Rather than spending thousands on your next short-lived holiday, why not invest that money in a swimming pool or spa to make your holiday last a lifetime?

The Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA) is a self-regulated organisation in which members agree to abide by its rules, regulations and strict code of ethics in the conduct of their business. The association is made up of leading pool and spa builders, equipment and chemical suppliers and service organisations, such as pool shops.

Members of SPASA pride themselves in offering a total service. This begins with discussions about your needs, advice on the type of filter, water sanitising, fencing, paving, heating, pump cleaning equipment, blankets, maintenance and much more. They will then obtain the necessary permits, undertake the complete construction, fill the pool and correctly balance the water in it.

Countrywide Pools are proud to be a part of this organisation and you can rest assured that our services will be supported by the strict Code of Ethics and have a commitment to deliver goods and services to an established industry standard.

Why would you trust your pool or spa with anyone other than a SPASA member?
